Massachusetts Latest State to Outlaw Mandatory Nurse Overtime (USA)
Sometimes then I scroll specialized news I see something like:
"August 10, 2012 - Nurses in Massachusetts celebrated a major victory this week after Gov. Deval Patrick signed a health care law that includes banning mandatory overtime for nurses. "
I wonder if these can impact my job as Nursing Assistant. Can't find obvious relation. But... You never know!

NCLEX to Become Canada's New Nursing Exam Standard
Being Nursing Assistant I often here that happens something like:
"August 6, 2012 - Taking the nursing exam is never easy, but at least U.S. nurses don’t have to wait weeks and weeks for their results. Soon, Canadian nurses won’t have to, either. "
But not just seeing this makes me think... But I just trying to understand how this one is just like most important what happend around? At least most noticable? Isn't there nothing more important about CNA?
Study Links Nurse Staffing and Burnout to Hospital Infections
In my day-to-day work as Certified Nursing Assistant I often to busy to notice what happens around me. So just sometimes I open news site and check through news. And this one is to be told about:
"August 3, 2012 - Looking for more evidence to support your arguments for lower patient loads? How about this: a new study has found that more patients assigned per nurse and higher nurse burnout rates contribute to higher hospital-associated infection rates, and improving staffing and the work environment could save facilities millions of dollars. "
And once again the text itself isn't that important. Neither it gives some actual information on CNA inside life. But still - if you don't have better sources - even news like this are worth few seconds.
